One day Polymer Clay workshop: This workshop is appropriate
for a beginner or as a refresher/expansion course for the more
experienced polymer clay artist.
Join Lindly Haunani, an acclaimed colorist- best known for
her sensitive use of color AND her somewhat colorful sense of humor- for
a fun and enlightening day.
Expand your repertoire of bead shapes to include pods,
petals, twists and tubes while learning exactly how to make these shapes
successfully using polymer clay Strategies for combining canes and
tweaking their profiles will be presented. Learn how eccentric bead
shapes can enhance or establish exciting stringing rhythms while
experimenting with scale, proportion and emphasis.
You will learn how to make a “perfect” Skinner blend that
will be fashioned into a subtle shaded round blend that incorporates
contrasts of hue, value and saturation. You will then use your “mother
cane” to construct ten different beads that reflect the synchronicity of
simplicity to unify your bead sampler.
Come with your two magical hands and your sense of humor: be
prepared to be amazed and leave with an enhanced sense of your artistic
sense and a beautiful sampler of beads.
Note: If you plan to stay for the weekend workshop Fantastic Fish, the
canes you have made on Friday can be incorporated into your three
dimensional mandala. |
