Details

Learn the basics of working with polymer clay to create patterns and textures that can then be turned into delightful jewelry or surface design elements for mosaics, home dec items and collage elements.

Instruction will be given on the Skinner Blend, pictured at left, as well as the techniques of mokume' gane', rubber stamping and millefiori.

In class we'll pull ourselves away from creating patterns long enoughYou'll learn enough techniques in this class to create multiple finished designs.

Fees

Clas Fee: $75, plus supplies (includes some supplies)

Dorm Fee: $35/night for shared room, $45/night for single room, plus MN Sales Tax

Also bring

Polymer clay, colors and brands of your choice (may also be purchased at Maureen's), at least three contrasting colors, such as white, black and blue

Plastic bags for wrapping leftover clay

Box for taking home projects (shoebox will work)

Non-alcohol hand wipes or baby wipes

Tools if you have them (you can borrow Maureen's for this class)

A bag lunch (there will be time to eat out at one of the local restaurants if you choose)
