AFFIRMATION EMBELLISHED
MINI QUILT
What part of your life do you want to embellish?
EMBELLISH (definition):
to make more attractive by adding decorations; make more interesting
by adding details which may not be true; dramatize; glorify (cause
to seem more splendid); ornament; pay more attention to
Affirm yourself and Play by making and embellishing a mini quilt.
Think of a part of your life that you want to embellish. Go to
www.storypeople.com and look at the very creative ways of
working with words and see if something inspires you to write your
affirmation statement.
The affirmation statement doesn’t have to have the word
embellishment in it, but it would be fun to include. We will be
using Maureen’s printer to print images and words on her ink jet
printer.
Extra challenge: Bring a picture of yourself and/or face and hands.
Extra, extra challenge: Have the facial expression be wild and
expressive.
