World-class doll artist and sculptor Diane Keeler returns to
Maureen's to continue her series of sculpting classes. In
this, her 10th year at Maureen's, she'll share her methods for
sculpting a full body sculpt of a 7 inch tall adult woman.
This is an intensive class in which students will learn:
- How to build strong armatures
- How to measure and position each body part for life-like
proportions
- Tips, tricks and techniques for sculpting with polymer
clay to create a full body sculpt
The goal of this class is for students to gain a wealth of
information about construction as well as the confidence and
skill to use it in all of their future sculpting projects.

Supplies needed for
class
Your favorite sculpting tools.
Polymer Clay, your
choice of brands. Diane suggests: Super Sculpey, Primo or
Prosculpt. (Maureen has Super Sculpey and Primo, as well as FIMO
Classic and Puppen FIMO for sale in the store). There will be time
on the first day of class to leach clay that is too soft, as that day
will be spent building armatures.
Diane will provide wire and foil, plus optional face push
molds for you to use.
