Designing Your ArtField of Dreams Game
is a creative, art-filled, playful way of planning for the future-the coming year. This process is a way of creating a framework for the journey you will take in 2011 in which you look for insight as you create the game and game figures.

The process is designed around a gardening theme:
·
Name your goals, dreams, and wishes for the coming year in times of introspection and hibernation of Winter

· Prepare the soil and plant your dream seeds in Spring

· Nurture and feed your dreams in Summer

· Harvest and give thanks for dreams come true in the Fall

This takes the idea behind creating a vision board to the next level. With a vision board you collage images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation and your life changes to match those images and those desires.

The Designing Your ArtField of Dreams Game invites you to move a step further.  As you design the game board and game pieces you define the steps toward your future dreams and when you will take those steps. Immersing yourself in the art and the play allows you to engage with your strategic intuition.

Strategic intuition is where you get a creative idea for what to do—a clear thought.  Strategic intuition works best in new situations, like Designing Your ArtField of Dreams, in which insight about what to do, create and solve a problem may come in the middle of the experience, and often does. You know you’ve experienced strategic intuition when suddenly it hits you. It all comes together in your mind. You connect the dots. It can be one big “Aha!” or a series of smaller ones that together show you the way ahead. The fog clears and you see what to do. It seems so obvious. A moment before you had no idea. Now you do.

Schedule:
Friday night 7:00 – 10:00 pm
Saturday  9:00 – noon    1:30-5:00
Sunday 10:00- noon    1:00-3:00 pm

These pictures are of one of the boards and a few of the game pieces that Barb has created.

Each student's board will be unique as it will be based on personal experiences and intentions.  These pieces are shown only to give an idea of what the process might look like.

Barb also teaches this game on-line and through an e-book.
