Learn to sculpt from one of the
Masters in the field of creating elegant, life-like figures from polymer
clay. Diane, who is a member of NIADA (National Institute of
American Doll Artists), generously shares the many tips that she has
learned through her 20+ years of sculpting dolls.
This class concentrates on the face,
which is polymer clay, and the tree branches and leaves, which are
made from Apoxie Sculpt. This is a perfect class for students
who are perfecting their face-sculpting skills as well as those who
would like to learn more about working with Apoxie Sculpt which is a
self-hardening clay. The nymph may be a sweet female face, as
pictured, or any type of woodland faerie.
Diane will take you step by step
through the process. Her signature teaching style is one of
patience, clear instruction, and attention to detail. There
will also be time during the evening studio sessions for you to refine
and practice what you've learned during the day.
