Landscape Caning with Julie Eakes Let's build a landscape cane. Students will learn to "paint" with canes. Several canes will be created during this three day class. Class discussion will involve some of the elements that go into making successful landscape components so that students will be able to create more once they return home. Topics covered will be color, design, depth, texture, perceived movement and feeling, size and scale. Students will learn some of Julies tricks and tips for reducing larger canes. And if you've seen her work on-line, you know that she's a master! Julie says: Don't be afraid.....You Cane Do It!
