There are several options for getting to Maureen's.

1.  Driving Directions

Maureen's is in Jordan, which is approximately 35 miles southwest of downtown Minneapolis, and also 35 miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport via HWY 169.  We are located at the intersection of Water and Varner streets.

If you are planning to stay in our dorm, please register in advance.  Let Maureen know when you plan to arrive so that someone will be there to greet you.  Otherwise, just show up for class at the scheduled time.  If you need motel accommodations in the area, and would like suggestions, please call Maureen at 952-492-3260

 2.  Super Shuttle from the Minneapolis airport

Cost: $37 one-way.  If several people travel together to Maureen's, each additional person is $8 or $9.00.  Check with Maureen before you make your reservation to see if any other students will be coming in to the airport for your class.

You can make reservations in advance at http://www.supershuttle.com or by calling 1-800-Blue Van (1-800-258-3826).  You can also just wait until you get to the airport, then go to the service desk as described below to make your reservation.

Upon Arrival At Airport

Lindbergh Terminal (Main Minneapolis - St. Paul Terminal) - Please follow the signs from Baggage Claim for  "Hotel Shuttles and Scheduled Vans" .  This will take you down one level where you will go to the "Ground Transportation Atrium". The SuperShuttle service desk is conveniently located in the center of the Transporation Atrium. Agents are on duty at the airport desk, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

HHH Terminal (Hubert Humphrey Terminal) - Please proceed across the street to the transportation center on the ground level of the parking garage. Use the phone at the SuperShuttle Kiosk and you will be automatically connected to the service desk. An agent will promptly arrange for your transportation. 

Note:  the Super Shuttle only services a 25-mile radius, so you will go partway to Jordan via the Super Shuttle, to the city of Shakopee, then Maureen will pick you up.

 Once you arrive at Perkins, call Maureen at 952-492-3260, to let her know that you have arrived.  Then have a cup of coffee or tea while you wait.  She will pick you up as soon as possible.  Please let Maureen know your flight schedule in advance so that she will be expecting your call.  Perkins is open 24 hours.

Note from Maureen:  If you have a luggage cart or a suitcase with wheels, it will be a great help as you walk from one part of the airport to another.   Pack light!

3.    Taxi Service

Taxis are available at the Lindbergh (main Minneapolis/St. Paul terminal)  and Humphrey Terminals. Taxi service at the Lindbergh Terminal is accessible via the Tram Level. Signs direct passengers from Baggage Claim to the cab starter booth, where airport staff will assist passengers obtaining a taxi. At the Humphrey Terminal, taxi service is available at the Humphrey Ground Transportation Center, which is located in the Humphrey Parking ramp on Level 1.

All cab fares are metered at a rate of $1.90 per mile and include a $3.00 trip fee that is added to the final metered fare, which allows drivers to recoup airport permit fees.  This makes a taxi trip to Jordan approximately $70 one way.  Check with Maureen to see if there might be other students who will be coming into the airport on the same day as you.  You might be able to share rides.
