Feb. 17 - 20: Maureen will be teaching at Cabin Fever Clay Festival in Maryland

This 3-day conference includes classes with 8 instructors, including Maureen and Donna Kato, Jana Roberts Benzon, Christi Friesen, Julie Picarello, Nan Roche, Sarah Shriver and Marie Segal. After these hands-on classes, take a short drive to the National Polymer Clay Guild conference which will be held Thursday through Saturday in downtown Baltimore. Description: Maureen Martin considers herself to be an �artist at play.� She believes when we �pretend� we can do something, and then go ahead and give it a whirl, it isn�t long before we can actually do it! It�s like magic!

If you have ever played �dress-up,� dreamed of being a fashion designer, wore clothes with an artsy flair, had tea parties, or imagined yourself creating an entire ensemble for you to wear, this weekend is for you!

Class Description: What would you create if you had no limits to your sculpting abilities, or imagination, or time, and you had a mentor and instructor to help you bring your ideas to life?

Come spend the week with Maureen and explore new sculpting techniques and ways of seeing what it is that you see. .

    Sculpted Walking Stick

Instructor: Maureen Carlson

In this class you�ll create a uniquely personal walking stick by adding clay, fibers, beads and charms to a simple wooden walking stick. The result will be a one-of-a-kind fully usable walking stick as well as a metaphorical symbol of your personal life journey.

Time: Friday, 7PM until Sunday at 3:00 PM
